Complete and pass a USDOT Approved 1st Responder course and be certified by the State Office of EMS at the 1st Responder Level
AHA Healthcare Provider CPR or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR Certification
Completed a 16 hour Emergency Vehicle Operations Course.
Candidate Must:
Complete and pass a USDOT Approved EMT Basic course and be certified by the State Office of EMS at the EMT-Basic level.

Candidate Must:
Complete and pass a USDOT Approved EMT Paramedic course and be certified by the State Office of EMS at the Paramedic level.

We strongly encourage our employees/members to further their training by attending
courses offered at the Ambulance Authority or throughout the state and region. These clases include, but are not limited to ACLS, BTLS or PHTLS, PALS, PEPP, AMLS, National Incident Management courses, HAZMAT Awareness, Mass Casualty Awareness and Operations and etc.
